I am having issues with loading neighbourhoods. For instance, when I try to load Belladonna Cove the game always crashes right into the point when it loads completely. This problem exists when I load Desiderata Valley, Riverblossom Hills, with some lots in Downtown, exotic destination lots from Bon Voyage, hobby lots, secret lots etc. I can still load base game neighbourhoods and university neighbourhods. Have you experienced similar problems? If yes, how did you solve them?

Notes:

• I have no custom content installed.
• The games are, of course, original - physical copy (CD).
• I can still use all the features of the expansion pack... exept the neighbourhoods.
• I read somewhere that installing lates drivers for your graphics card may solve the problem. Is this true?

All I can guess is that it boils down to file corruption. Does TS2 run fine on your PC (as in no lag)? Updating your GPU drivers may help though TS2 is fairly old now, unless you've never updated them at all. Lost Labyrinth • (c) • (b) 21:39, November 21, 2012 (UTC)

I have a new computer now and I can run it on maximum settings without lags (I don't). My graphics card is AMD Radeon HD 6530D. Is it good enough for Sims 2? Vss2eip^{talk here} 21:47, November 21, 2012 (UTC)

That's more than enough, even better than what I've got (Intel HD 4000). For what it's worth, TS2 has a compatibility issue with Windows 7. I managed to get the game working but I didn't play long enough to see if it had any load issues or not. Looks like Google is your friend here. Sorry I couldn't be more help. I got a new computer about a month ago. I installed the new games a few days ago (Note: I bought the games over an auction site, but it said that it was used very little and it seems true). I did't change or temper anything in the game. Vss2eip^{talk here} 20:15, November 22, 2012 (UTC)

Sounds like game corruption to me. Please uninstall then reinstall.
