:How many sims do you have exactly? I recently got Open For Business so I'm not a pro but if you have 2 adult sims in the household then it would be a good idea to have one sim (or both, they can still have a job and business at the same time) to get a job so you can buy more objects. Once you've got enough money, you can buy more objects and items to craft objects. Or you could simply set the price to ridiculously expensive but then your customers would probably hate you and it could be hard to rank up your shop. Hope this helps! :) [[User:ColinThePanda|Colin the Panda]] - [[User talk:ELiT3xNuK3|Meow]] 21:03, September 11, 2012 (UTC)

Okay i play sim 2 and i hate cheats, but family have just afford a business and employees cost so much- how on earth do i earn money?

How many sims do you have exactly? I recently got Open For Business so I'm not a pro but if you have 2 adult sims in the household then it would be a good idea to have one sim (or both, they can still have a job and business at the same time) to get a job so you can buy more objects. Once you've got enough money, you can buy more objects and items to craft objects. Or you could simply set the price to ridiculously expensive but then your customers would probably hate you and it could be hard to rank up your shop. Hope this helps! :) Colin the Panda - Meow 21:03, September 11, 2012 (UTC)
I'd say Open for Business is rather a challenging expansion pack. To me, running a business isn't really a moneymaking source, but an advanced challenge. Although, there are some tips if you want to run a business as a starter:
 • Run a home business. You can turn your house into a business. Sure it'll be very challenging, as your time will mostly be spent tending your business.
 • Purchase a small, starter community lot. There are 2-3 starter business lots in Bluewater Village.
 • Play your family long enough until they can save enough fortune to run a mediocre business lot.
 • Play a premade family that already has business, like Landgraab family, or Jacquet family.
