Hello wikia, i have just installed The Sims 2 Complete Collection in Windows 10. It works smoothly but however i am having problems regarding lot visitors. My sim has a business lot but it can only generate two customers. Through a mod i got the info that ALL lots only allow two visitor maximum. On my previous Win8 machine, this didn't happen and i can accept up to ~8 visitors. What is the reason of this problem? And if possible, is there any way to fix this? Thank you

Hi Mikazuki-wan Kenobi.

The maximum number of visitors available on a lot is determined by your computer's specs, so if you have a good computer the game will usually permit more visitors onto your lot.

If you want to allow more visitors to show up on your lot, you can change the visitor limit using a cheat. Press Ctrl+Shift+C and type in intProp maxNumOfVisitingSims [number], replacing [number] with the number of Sims you'd like to raise the limit to (So, if you want to raise the limit to 8 Sims, type intProp maxNumOfVisitingSims 8). You need to do this in the neighborhood view before loading a lot, and if you want it to be available during every game session, you'll either need to do it every time you start up the game, or add it to a Userstartup.cheat file.

If you're running an owned business, there's a modded object at SimWardrobe called the "Customer Limit Adjuster" that allows you to select the limit easily and painlessly. Find it in "Sims 2 > Objects > Business Facilitators > Customer Limit Adjuster".

Thank you for the solutions! Regarding specs: If that's the case, i don't understand why my current laptop has max visitors set to 2 since it's more powerful than the previous one. My previous machine runs on win8 with dual-core Celeron + 2GB RAM while my current one runs on win10 with 7th Gen i5 + 8GB DDR3 RAM. Well it's an old game running on a relatively new operating system. I use Windows 10 and I've had some problems here and there with The Sims 2, but it otherwise works just fine, and I use the aforementioned cheat so I don't notice the visitor limit anyways. —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 02:42, March 9, 2017 (UTC)
