This idea is simple: what is your motto? Place what it is and why below.

Mottos

  • Freedom is the key to happiness - Me: because I love having freedom and I'm very happy because of it. BakeryChaz ~ (let's have a chat!) 09:03, August 17, 2012 (UTC)
  • Freedom is Peace: My motto from today onwards. Because I want people to be free and believe that freedom makes peace.Defending Star (talk) 09:16, August 17, 2012 (UTC) Lesya Zirka
  • If it's got nothing to do with them, why should you care what they think? - Me: I used to be quite an insecure individual. I still am, but I'm working on it. The meaning of this is just enjoy life, and if you're doing something that doesn't involve other people, just ignore what they think of you, because they shouldn't bother you at all. • To get the full value of joy, you must have someone to divide it with. - Mark Twain: I just happen to love the saying, as it's from one of my favorite historians and it has a nice ring to it. It mainly describes how with the right group of people or person, you can accomplish anything. PGR7 (habla - escuchar) 12:31, August 17, 2012 (UTC)
  • As long as there is politics there will be war: Rather pessimistic, one would say, but rather agreeable to Sun Tzu's view of war in which war is just a extension of politics: war is simply a means to an end. Despite the human losses that is war, war is also arguably one of the greatest contributors to technology. The question is, is it worth it? I could also use "As long as there is xenophobia there can be no peace" MILK FOR THE UNYUUFEX, FLAT CHEST FOR THE CUTENESS THRONE, SKULLS FOR THE SKULL PROBES (user talk:Mathetesalexandrou) 14:43, August 17, 2012 (UTC)

  • If something's hard to do then it's not worth doing. From the wise mouth of Homer Simpson, this is an amazing motto imo. DanPintalkcontribs 00:05, August 19, 2012 (UTC)
