Alright, so I've recently gotten back into playing The Sims 3; in typical fashion, I don't start playing something until the new thing comes along and everyone runs off to play that instead. Anyways, I presently own three expansion packs for TS3 - World Adventures, Ambitions and Generations. Now that TS4 is out, I expect that prices on the remaining EPs will begin to drop. I'd like to round out my collection a little bit, but I don't plan on buying eight expansion packs at the same time. So, I'd like some help from you to decide which pack I should get first. Let me know what EP you think I should get, and why. -- LostInRiverview talk ~ blog 01:06, September 20, 2014 (UTC)

Suggestion from k6ka[edit source]

Late Night. I hear it is the best expansion pack out there, and considering it was widely considered to be the best EP for The Sims (Hot Date) and The Sims 2 (Nightlife)(Some players say that Apartment Life was awesome too), there should be no doubt that the nighttime city-life appeals to Sim players, humans IRL, and the Sims themselves too. --k6ka (talk | contribs) 01:09, September 20, 2014 (UTC)

That's a tough one. Only four out of my expansion packs are the best for me. But I would suggest Supernatural. You will know the best things about the 5 different life states (including the zombies) though your neighbors will be affected (at a higher or lower chance) due to story progression. And there are more goal making for the Sims. Well, that's that. (P.S. I would suggest k6ka's suggestion too. It was really one of the best expansion pack in TS3!) ~~.ThePeculiarMe | (talk to me) | (my mistakes) 02:45, September 20, 2014 (UTC)

Suggestion from Nikel[edit source]

My personal pick would be Late Night, University Life, and Ambitions. I'm always up for downtown life, and the first two picks, IMO, add integral features to the game that not only appears as additional features. For example, I think that drinks and bars and most aspects in UL outside the college itself are very natural in the game that I think the game would be lacking if you don't have them. AMB adds optional stuff to the game, but it's still one of my favorite. Seasons adds immersion to the game, but I think that EP really lacks integral features. The festival aspect is completely optional and you may pass the whole year without ever experiencing the festival events.

Oh yeah, this blog Sims 3 Expansion Packs Ranked, sums up pretty good suggestion by Alex the Vampire. Nikel Talk Vote! 10:41, October 20, 2014 (UTC)
