Greek Houses are only available with the University expansion pack. Sims can turn any on campus residential lot into a Greek House using the telephone and selecting "apply for charter". It costs 20 simoleans to start a Greek House. Dorms and community lots cannot be Greek Houses.

Advantages of Greek Life

  • Sims can visit campus autonomously, bringing back pizza and furniture.
  • Sims can throw toga parties- they wear a special toga outfit.
  • Sims can use "Sleep On Floor" interaction. Unlike passing out, sleeping on floor will not decrease your Sim's comfort.
  • Sims can show affection towards one another by "horsing around" (note- has to be with a Sim of 100 relationship points.)

Greek House Levels

As a Greek House gains more friends, it goes up in rank. Rank can be checked by clicking on the greek letters of the house. Each rank limits the amount of members that can join the Greek House. As the rank goes up, more members can join and sims visiting campus will bring back more expensive objects.

Joining

Becoming a member of a Greek House can be done in three ways.

By Phone

A Sim can use the "join Greek House" option using the phone. If this is done members of the house will come to meet your sim. A scenario begins and the sim has a few hours to gain enough relationship points with the members to join.

Asking

If the playable Sim and the Greek House member have a high enough relationship, asking to join the Greek House will have a positive outcome or start the Greek House scenario.

Pledging

When the Greek House is the active household, members can ask other Sims to pledge the Greek House. Pledges can be influenced to do anything without using influence points. After spending a certain amount of time on the lot, the pledges become full members. Greek House members can then ask these Sims to move into the Greek House.
