A hospital is a rabbit hole in The Sims 3. The Sunset Valley hospital is known as the Sacred Spleen Memorial Hospital, and the Riverview hospital is known as County Care General Hospital.
This is where Sims go to give birth, and get a job in the Medical Career and also can get medical advice, for a fee.
This is one of the properties you can partner with and own in The Sims 3.
The Sacred Spleen Memorial Hospital is probably a reference to Sacred Heart from the TV show Scrubs. It is near the Doo Peas Corporate Tower and ironically, the Fast Food Diner.
