Joe can be made playable by befriending and asking him to move in, or by marrying him. He has medium-length grey hair tied back in a ponytail, a grey mustache and goatee, light blue eyes, and medium skin. Joe is mostly interested in Fashion, Travel, Entertainment, and Work. He has the same facial structure as Grayson Butler.
According to his SimDNA in SimPE, his hair was red before it turned grey. Like other garden club members, Joe will sometimes appear at Community lots. He wears a white shirt and greenish pants. Joe shares his name with a college student from Académie Le Tour.
