Leandra Rutherford (née Melkin) is the wife of Kenneth Rutherford, the mother of Marissa Cleveland and Geoff Rutherford, and the grandmother of Justin Cleveland. Not much is known about her since she is deceased before the start of The Sims 2. Her family tree is broken, like Etokas Cho. It is known that she had Geoff very late in her life, since Marissa was a teen when he was born and Geoff has a memory of learning to walk by Marissa, though Marissa does not have it.
- Note: Leandra is the feminine form of Leander, derived from the Greek leon, for lion, and andros, man (ie, a lion of a man).
