Martin can hardly believe he's really related to a frat member. Rather than dwelling on it though, he keeps his nose to the grindstone, hangs out with his roommates and tries to avoid the sorority girls.
His twin brother, Joshua, also attends Sim State. The brothers have a 20/20 relationship with one another, so while they are not hostile or even estranged, they are not close, either.
He is the nerd on campus, while his brother is a popular jock who is in a prestigious fraternity. Surprisingly, though, he is also friends with the most popular girl on the campus, sorority girl Heather Huffington, who has a crush on him.
Even though Martin is in his first semester of the Freshman year, his average is 0, which is impossible because he hasn't gone through his final exam. Normally, the GPA for a first-semester Freshmen is blank. This happens with his roommate Allegra as well.
Martin has a kind but rather introverted personality, tending to be shy, lazy, and neat. Not surprisingly for a nerd, Martin is strongly interested in sci-fi and the paranormal. His other main interests are politics, weather, and work. He is not very interested in money, sports, or fashion.
