Matthew Howe is one of the pre-made townies in The Sims 2 who resides in Strangetown. He can be made playable by marrying him or befriending and asking him to move in. He shares his last name with fellow townie Margaret Howe, though there isn't any evidence that the two are related.

Like all townies in The Sims 2, Matthew's skills, career and relationships with other townies are usually randomized at the start of the game. Matthew has the same facial structure as Benjamin Long from Pleasantview.

As far as personality, Matthew Howe is extremely active and rather playful, but he is sloppy, shy and somewhat grouchy. His interests are randomized at the start of the game. It is only referenced in the game files that he has no interests.
