Mausoleum
The Mausoleum is a rabbit hole object found in The Sims 3. A Sim can get a part-time job there as a Mausoleum Clerk. Mausoleums are usually found on Cemetery lots, but can be placed on almost any community lot.
There are three styles as of The Sims 3: World Adventures: The base game version - which has a gothic style - and also Asian and Egyptian versions.
A Sim can explore the catacombs within a Mausoleum and find loot like books, Death Flowers, Gold and Mysterious Mr. Gnome. Sims experience text-based adventures while inside the catacombs. Most Sims will gain a scared moodlet while inside the catacombs. Sims may also encounter monsters and bears that can attack the Sim leaving it singed. There is also a possibility that if a Sim (without the Brave or Daredevil trait) is attacked they may die after a couple of minutes of leaving the Catacombs. This is very rare, however. When a Sim that is not active dies in The Sims 3, and they share a strong relationship with the active family, a copy of their tombstone will appear stored in the Mausoleum in their home neighbourhood.
