Money cheats

Money cheats are available in all The Sims games.

The Sims

The Sims has the cheats klapaucius and rosebud. klapaucius only works with the unpatched version. They both give the current household §1,000 Simoleons.

Enter cheat mode:
type: ^ Ctrl+⇧ Shift+C
type: klapaucius
Notes: Gives current household 1,000 Simoleons. Unpatched version of The Sims

Enter cheat mode:

type: rosebud
Notes: Gives current household 1,000 Simoleons. Patched version of The Sims

kaching

Kaching is a cheat in The Sims 2 and The Sims 3. It gives the current household §1,000 Simoleons.

Enter cheat mode:

type: kaching
Notes: Gives current household 1,000 Simoleons.

motherlode

Motherlode is a cheat introduced in The Sims 2. When used, it adds 50,000 Simoleons to the current family's funds. As well as many other cheats, Motherlode appears in The Sims 3.

Notes: Gives current household 50,000 Simoleons.

familyFunds

familyFunds can be used to increase or decrease a family's household funds by a specific amount. It can also be used from the neighborhood screen. It is available in The Sims 2 and The Sims 3. In The Sims 3, testingcheatsenabled must be activated first.
