MoveObjects on is a cheat from The Sims 2 favored by cheaters, decorators and glitch fixers alike. In a Legacy Challenge, this cheat is allowed to fix glitchy objects and NPCs and interior decorating. Instead of being placed in usual places, furniture and other objects can be placed in areas where they normally wouldn't be able to go — through a wall, in the street, etc.

The Sims equivalent is move_objects on, and works in a similar way.

It must be typed in the cheat code box. (Ctrl+Shift+C) It can be turned off by typing in "MoveObjects off".

Hazards

  • Sims can be deleted using this cheat. This was fixed in The Sims 3.

Player tips

  • If your tired of your teen or child Sim having to get stressed out from homework, place the homework on a table or whatever and delete the table! The glitch means your Sim wont get in trouble, and it will seem as if the child has done the homework!
  • In The Sims 3 homework can not be deleted.
