The Newson family is one of the pre-made families that can be found in the family bin that came with the The Sims 2: Apartment Life expansion pack. Prior to the game starting the parents of the six Newson children have passed leaving teens Gavin Newson and Ginger Newson in charge of finding a home and taking care of their younger siblings who all just wish to grow up. Gabriella Newson and Gallagher Newson are both children while Garrett Newson and Georgia Newson are both toddlers. This is one of the only pre-made families in the entire series where no adult or elder is present in the household. The other one is the Smith family in Felicity Island, after the story mode is finished.

Trivia

• All members of the Newson family have the letter "G" as the first letter of their names.
• While this premade family has only teens and children, it is not normally possible to make such a family in Create a Sim.
• Gloria still exists within the game however only remnants of her data remain, including her linkage within the family tree which ultimately creates issues in-game.
• When viewing their character data in SimPE, none of the siblings have a gender preference at the start of the game. This is also the case for Isaiah Gavigan.
