Obedience trainer

An obedience trainer is a service NPC in The Sims 2: Pets. They can help teach Sims's dogs and cats tricks for a fee. When hired, Sims can ask the trainer to train any of their pets to do a specific command. The trainer will simply wander around the lot if they are not told to do anything, much like the gypsy matchmaker, or may even leave the lot with the hourly pay. If the pet's mood drops too low or if the trainer is unable to reach the animal, the training interaction will be cancelled, and players must requeue the interaction. The trainer will also stop training once a pet has learned the command.

All obedience trainer NPC names are randomized at the start of the game. Their official names are only referenced in the game files.
