Planter bowl

Planter bowls are an object introduced in The Sims 3: Supernatural that allow Sims to grow plants in them. It's the only way of planting harvestable plants indoors. They returned with the base game of The Sims 4.

The Sims 3: Supernatural

Planter bowls can be purchased from the Plants section, under Decor, in Buy mode. They can be used indoors and outdoors and take up one tile of space. This is useful for gardening in winter because plants will become dormant if left outside.
