Police department
A police department is the law enforcement buliding of Sunset Valley and Riverview in The Sims 3 .
This is where you get a job in Law Enforcement and where you go if your sim is in jail. In Sunset valley, It's near the Square, The City Hall and quite far from the Criminal Warehouse despite the info given in the preview poster given in preorder. Like the Science Lab, it has a Statue in the front of the building, the SVPD and RPD have a Badge, while the Lab has a Cog. However, while the science career symbol is actually an atom, the Law Enforcement is represented by an badge. Sometimes, an Police Cruiser can be seen parking in the front of it. Having a job in this building may cause your sim to be distrusted by Evil sims. There are two career paths for the aspiring Police Officer: Forensic Analyst and Special Agent.
