The Popularity aspiration is one of the five basic aspirations for a Sim that comes with the The Sims 2 game. Sims that have the Popularity aspiration typically want to make many friends and best friends, and will also want to choose certain career paths based on this aspiration such as Athletic or Politics. Throwing parties is also a common want for Popularity Sims--which, in turn, provides them with opportunities to make yet more friends. Sims with high Nice and Outgoing personality ratings typically do well as Popularity Sims.

Perks that popular Sims receive range from the ability to engage in three-way phone conversations, down to the very nice ability to make friends at an excelled rate.

Their biggest fears revolve around making enemies with other Sims and throwing bad parties. However, popularity Sims are not afraid to get in fights with Sims they don't like, and may want to win a fight against them.
