Ransom Clavell is a deceased Sim in The Sims 3. He is currently buried in Pleasant Rest Graveyard. His ghost can be seen at night in the graveyard, and it is blue, which means that he died of drowning. He was married to Jennie Clavell, who is also died of drowning and is buried at the cemetery next to him. Ransom is the father of Buster Clavell and grandfather of Xander Clavell.

Unusually, in-game, he is not listed to have been married to Jennie Clavell (if the player goes to the graveyard and asks him if he is single it lists that his partner is none), although if a married Sim dies, they are automatically separated from their spouse.
