Roth family

The Roths are an obvious offshoot of the Goth Family with younger versions of Cassandra (Sandra Roth), Mortimer (Morty Roth) and Bella (Stella Roth) present. The family member most similar to their Goth counterpart is Xander (Alexander Goth), the house is almost identical to the Goth house. They are possibly the richest members of Riverblossom Hills neighborhood, despite not being very popular. The Roth family address is 208 Welsh Lane.
Onomatology
Old German origin meaning "red". Possibly refers to hair or complexion.

Similarities to the Goth's
The Roth Family has various resemblances to the Goth Family. Firstly the names. Their family name, Roth, is so similar to the Goths to the point it is one letter away from being the same. Morty is very similar to Mortimer, as is Stella to Bella. Xander is similar to Alexander and Sandra is similar to Cassandra. They also have a mirror reversed version of the Goth household (the house is a lot brighter than the Goth's home though). Other similarities are that Stella Roth stays away longer when she gets abducted. Usually, when a sim is abducted, they stay away for up to 4 hours, Stella stays away for 7.
Differences to the Goth's
The Roths are similar to the Goth's on many levels, but they are also different in some too. For instance, the Roth's dress a lot brighter than any of the Goth's. Stella (The Roth's version of Bella Goth) hasn't dissapeared, and remains with her family. Most of the family (excluding Xander) dont notably resemble the goths in facial features. The Roth's are unpopular in Riverblossom Hills, a problem most Goth's never had to deal with in Pleasantview. But possibly the most notable difference is the Roth's dress code, and lifestyle. Whilst the Goth's mainly dress in dark, traditional-style clothes, the Roths are very notably much more modern and "cooler" than the Goth family. The Goth's always believed in traditional, strict upbrimging, The Roth's are all about being modern.
