Schmoozer

A Sim schmoozing for §§§.

Schmoozer is a social trait in The Sims 3. It conflicts with the Rebellious trait. Prior to Generations, it did not conflict with any trait.

Schmoozers are really good at befriending co-workers and sucking up to their bosses. They are great at navigating the corporate landscape.

Attributes

  • Schmoozer Sims gain more relationship points with the boss and co-workers when socializing.
  • Schmoozer Sims have better results when asking for things from other Sims.
  • Compliments are always successful.

Possible lifetime wishes

  • Become the leader of the free world (reach level 10 in Political career)
  • Become a CEO of a major corporation (reach level 8 in the Business career)
  • Become Super Popular (have 20 or more friends)

Unlocked interactions

  • Schmoozers have the Schmooze interaction with bosses and co-workers.
  • They can also Praise and Flatter other Sims which gives them the Flattered moodlet.

Schmoozer

  • Schmoozer and Absent-Minded are the only traits that gained a conflict but did not have one in The Sims 3. This excludes traits (Eg, Workaholic) that gained a conflict in the Wii.
    • All of these traits are from games released in June[TS3][TS3:A] and May[TS3:G].

Player notes

  • Sims can easily befriend snobs because they're good at complimenting other Sims.
  • Sims with this trait who have a job will automatically 'Suck up to the Boss' or 'Do Boss's paperwork' if such a command is available.
