It is also featured as a buyable, player-constructed object in ''[[The Sims 2: Holiday Party Pack]]'' and ''[[The Sims 4: Holiday Celebration Pack]]''.

Snowmen reflect the personality of the Sim that creates them, but not extensively, as they can only be good or evil. Sims have limited interaction with completed snowmen, but [[penguin]]s may occasionally appear on the lot and speaktalk to the snowmen. Snowmen will begin to melt if the outdoor [[temperature]] gets warm enough or there is no snow left on the ground. Sims can "Knock over" snowmen, which may cause distress to other Sims in the area.

Sims can build snowmen when the snow is deep enough in Winterwinter. Sims can build alone or together with another Sim. There are 6six types of snowmen that Sims can discover. Once the Sim discovers a type, players can order the Sim to build a snowman they've already learned or a random snowman. There's a 50% chance that Sims will discover a new type of snowman when building one.

Sims can autonomously build snowmansnowmen, but will not build another if there are 4four snowmen already on a lot.

With these interactions toddlersToddlers and children are able tocan build a [[relationship]] with that snowpalsnowpals, which canwill be seenreflected in thetheir relationship panel. When they max out this relationship, the "''Declare as Ultimate Snowpal!''" interaction becomes available for children., With this interaction childrenwhich areallows ablethem to recreate thatthe exact same snowpal later in the future.

WhenIf ''[[The Sims 4: Parenthood]]'' is installed, toddlers, children and teens can get encouraged, get yelled at or get grounded for destroying snowpals.
