Hi I've noticed that a slew of my content that I created for this wikia have been appearing on the SimsWiki, by a user other than myself. I went and created an account (presuming that in the process that would leave the porting/importing to 'ME' [i.e. the content creator and manager]) and have been combing through material, backlogs, and content to port over and articles are continuing to be ported. I want to state that while appreciate K6ka's efforts, I would however like to resume control over the maintaining and porting of my content.

It took me by surprise to find that my fanon (original headcanon content) was being imported to the other wiki alongside the main franchise articles. I do not wish to come across as hostile, however I find it odd that despite the fact that said fanon articles have a clear and concise indicator (a citation at the top of the article) that the content belongs to them, and is under their management, that someone besides myself took it upon themselves to go ahead and port them over to the other site, which to begin with I had no foreknowledge of until I was randomly stumbled upon it on a Google search.

I've got to ask that [[User:K6ka]], and anyone else who has been back/forwards-porting my content to simply cease and allow me to manage my own content from here on out. If they had been articles based upon generic out-of-the box Sims content, that would be different however it feels weird to find that someone else is porting and ghostwriting your own fantasy characters without seeking your consent or at least informing you. Everyone feels differently about how their fanon content is approached; some Simmers don't mind if someone makes an article about their fanon creations, others like myself are a tad sentimental and would like to handle the management of these articles themselves. I take great pride and joy in writing up the backstories, taking the perfect screenshot in-game and polishing my fictional characters up to look nice. After seeing what appears to be a mock-up or straight up clone of my originally written fanon articles, only to find that they were simply imported with the 'import' feature of the wiki site (which is why some of the screenshots do not load properly), it comes across as lazy, robotic and uncaring. To others these may simply be weird fanon articles, but to me they are a fun hobby and an extension of my Sims 4 experience. I want to add that by forwards-porting others' fanon content gives off the impression that you may be claiming ownership of said original fanon content, and more-or-less renders the 'fanon citation' useless when you are simply mass-porting everything without the owner's say so.

I would ask that [[User:K6ka]] and any others involved in the porting/backporting of my original fanon creations to respect the author/creator citation and simply allow me to regulate my own fanon. If I do not wish my fantasy characters to appear on a wiki that is outside the neighborhood of FANDOM sites that I peruse, then that it is my prerogative. Please respect the citation at the top of my fanon articles, and leave me and me alone to regulate how my fanon content is disseminated.
