Solar panel placement

Does the 1x1 solar panel need a floor tile under the roof? IIRC, roof objects don't need floor tiles under them when placed on a roof. Nikel _{Talk – Vote!} 02:39, April 23, 2015 (UTC)

When taking the picture used on the article, I noted that it wasn't possible to place the solar panel on the roof unless a floor tile was placed underneath the roof. Don't recall. I've always used the moveobjects cheat when placing items on the roof (Sofa and TV on the roof, anyone?), but the only reasons why I would see this happening is 1) A crappy EAxian oversight, or 2) A crappy EAxian method of getting people to use the ceilings introduced in Apartment Life (and probably a method of convincing M&G w/o AL players to buy AL, since M&G has a plethora of issues if it's installed without AL). I suddenly recalled that ever since AL, I had a habit of adding floor tiles / ceilings on the topmost floor, just below the roof. My claim might be false because of bad memory. Nikel _{Talk – Vote!} 07:54, September 27, 2015 (UTC)
