This seems inaccurate, as

Waxing means growing, and waning means shrinking. However, the images are associated with the right phases: waxing moon is of the left, waning one to the right. maybe it is the order? Babies reactions on Full Moon[edit source]
Rencently, I got newborn triplelts (None of it all are Supernatural), One of my baby reacts same thing as pet/older sims on Full Moon (They born on Full Moon). But there is no movement for the babies becuase Toddler-Elder had movement for it.
