US or UK version of Being Human

This household has had several edits over the past few months regarding which version of the TV show Being Human they are based on. While it is true that the US version is based on the UK version, it is also true that the Sims 3 is a game from the US. Because of that, it is likely that this household is based on the US version. My question is there a way that we can make it clear so that we don't have to see these edits keep occurring? I would almost be alright to not even include it, but there will be someone who feels that it has to be added in.
