Will she age up into a teenager? One of my children is real friendly with her, so I became curious.Gowihasti (talk) 07:33, April 28, 2014 (UTC)

I'm not really sure if NPCs will grow up... I don't know. :/ Nikel Talk Vote! 12:57, May 7, 2014 (UTC)
Well, NPCs will grow up, unlike the homeless. Cora and Skip grow up as teens when my Sim met them in school. Or you could just invite her in your home and held a birthday party to her. ThePeculiarMe | (talk to me) 13:22, May 7, 2014 (UTC)
Oh, you're right. I forgot we could manually grow them up with the birthday cake! Silly me. Is it true that homeless Sims won't age? I didn't know that either. Nikel Talk Vote! 13:51, May 7, 2014 (UTC)
Homeless Sims won't age up automatically, they'll age up with the birthday cake. Well, this was shown my doppelganger family. I saw my doppelganger family, my real child Sim turns into a teen automatically and her doppelganger one isn't. Oh, also, Dave Ramsey, a townie who always showed up as a Zombie, isn't aged up yet and my parent Sims were already adults (they were YA in the start and so does Ramsey.) However, I can't consider this as a fact that the homeless aren't age up automatically because I heard that some of the players that their townies/homeless are age up well. ThePeculiarMe | (talk to me) 14:21, May 7, 2014 (UTC)
It's been long since I last played the game, but I think homeless Sims and neighbors age up normally in my game, but I can't say that for sure since I didn't pay enough attention to the homeless Sims. Just a guess, did you turn off the aging option? Or maybe you don't have the story progression on? Nikel Talk Vote! 14:31, May 7, 2014 (UTC)
Well, my story progression is always on and the aging options has an on/off switch? I realized, this is in Moonlight Falls, in the 3rd or 4th week, a homeless or 2 (it was Oberon and Titania) are in the Central Park and at exactly 9:00 PM, they aged up together. So, I guess it's a hint? ThePeculiarMe | (talk to me) 14:41, May 7, 2014 (UTC)
I guess it suggests homeless Sims age up as well, then. Nikel Talk Vote! 14:48, May 7, 2014 (UTC)
I'm sure that they age up, but in others ways. Sometimes the program doesn't read to the other NPCs to age them up well. And by using mods or cheats to age up all of the townies at the same time. ThePeculiarMe | (talk to me) 15:04, May 7, 2014 (UTC)
Ah, thanks for the info! I wasn't even aware we could age up NPCs with birthday cakes. How would I do that since I can't just click her and tell her to blowout the candles?Gowihasti (talk) 08:06, May 9, 2014 (UTC)

I've had NPCs age up in The Sims 3 before. However they may age up much later than normal (or occasionally earlier). C.Syde (talk | contribs) 08:22, May 9, 2014 (UTC)

Like C.Syde had said, it is either to let them age up automatically or if she's done with her job and if one of your Sims are friends with her, invite her in your home and then click the cake, click the blow out candles interaction and click her name. ThePeculiarMe | (talk to me) 8:28, May 9, 2014 (UTC)
Ah, I see, thank you! Gowihasti (talk) 19:07, May 10, 2014 (UTC)
