Two different families[edit source]

I didn't want to just split the article in two, but I doubt it that the Tinker family from Open for Business and the one from Eco Lifestyle are related in any way. It's stated nowhere and they have no similarities in appearance at all. DeSims (talk) 15:44, June 7, 2020 (UTC)

Yeah, I also believe it makes no sense for the families to be on the same page. There is no indication that they are the same family. Ѧüя◎ґ (talk) 16:11, June 7, 2020 (UTC)
Agree with the split as well. And for the same reasons: they don't have any connections. - SimDestroyer (talk) 19:29, June 8, 2020 (UTC)
Ditto to all above reasons. Nikel Talk 14:38, June 9, 2020 (UTC)
I agree with this spilt too, the two Tinker families are totally separate. simmietime (talk) 20:23, June 9, 2020 (UTC)

So could we agree that a split is necessary? Would it better to call them by their game or world/neighborhood they appear in? DeSims (talk) 20:31, June 9, 2020 (UTC)

I would agree with a split as well. There doesn't seem to be any connection between these two families. I'm not sure there's a consistent approach though. Some examples: Davis household (La Fiesta Tech) and Davis household (Roaring Heights). Kim family (The Sims 2: Pets) and Kim family (Shang Simla). Kennedy family (Pet Stories) and Kennedy family (The Sims 3). —Gvaudoin 💬 21:20, June 9, 2020 (UTC)
Perhaps we can put some sort of consistency for those pages as well then? And have all of those also have an disambig page? I would propose to rename all of them to the neighborhoods or worlds where they're living in, since there won't be any clashes then? DeSims (talk) 21:29, June 22, 2020 (UTC)
