RE: About the Sims from the Sims Pet Stories

There are a total of 27 default Maxis face templates, and one hidden default Maxis face template. Pretty much all the townies from The Sims 2, Life Stories, Pet Stories, and Life Stories use default faces, except for Bella Goth (Strangetown), and most of the downtownies from Nightlife. Ian Curtin and Zeeshan Despret use the 25th Maxis face template called "Archcsla". This page may help you to tell each of the faces apart, except the 28th Maxis face template "Archalien", being hidden, isn't shown on the page. Yeah, they all have names. You can see their names by doing ctrl+shift+c and then typing in "boolprop testingcheatsenabled true" and then hitting enter, then going into Create a Sim, and then using Shift+N. That activates debug mode, and when you hover the mouse over each of the clothes, hairstyles, face templates etc, it should tell you what they are called. ― C.Syde (talk | contribs) 23:42, February 15, 2018 (UTC)

Tricou family image

That one you showed me on another wiki was used on this wiki as well, but I removed it, because Gvaudoin isn't wearing her canon hairstyle, and Nylissit doesn't wear a necklace by default, so I uploaded an image that displayed them in their canon appearances. ― C.Syde (talk | contribs) 23:21, February 25, 2018 (UTC)

Yeah, the quality of the image you showed me just now is about as good as the one that I uploaded. Your previous uploads were in poorer quality, probably because you had your Sim/Object Detail settings set to low. Am I correct? I have everything set to the highest quality, but I have my video settings set to medium, because the sound is muted when I have it set to high, and medium quality seems to be good enough anyway. ― C.Syde (talk | contribs) 23:57, February 25, 2018 (UTC)

TS4 Sim images

Hey! I've seen that you have been adding pages about Sims from TS4 and its content packs. It is really appreciated, but I would like to say one thing. Could you possibly please use black backgrounds for the Sim portraits? They are preferred that way in here and would ease up the workload. RE: copy-pasting and consensus

In terms of merging two pages, simply copying and pasting the content is not allowed, because the CC BY-SA license we use requires that attribution be provided to the authors of the text. The easiest way is to provide a link to the page you copied the text from in the edit summary of your edit. This is extremely important, since if you simply copy and paste the text without providing attribution, it is assumed to be your work (which isn't the case), which is a pretty serious violation of the license.

As for consensus, I don't see a consensus on the talk page; I just see one comment nodding their head about the proposed change and two additional comments that haven't been addressed yet. That's not consensus. There should be more input. —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 02:52, June 4, 2019 (UTC)

Giant Will's head

The version you uploaded last year seem to have bigger eyes than the one I have (which is just TS1MM GiantWill with TSO Will's eyes). Where did you get it? My Makin' Magic folder only has the "sleepy" version :( -- Ryo205 18:09, June 4, 2019 (UTC)

Small correction

I found out the "TSO Will Wright" (and by extension, the Makin' Magic one) are both based on a promotional set of skins by Maxis (for an EBWorld promotion), as seen here.

The other one with weird eyes (from the Spanish Sims Wikia) is probably a fanmade edit by someone who didn't even know official versions existed. -- Ryo205 20:32, July 11, 2019 (UTC)

TheSimsCharacterSet.exe

Since the *.exe didn't work well for you, I've uploaded the extracted skins for Sim File Share. This set consists of 7 heads and 9 bodies (including Will Wright and Luc Barthelet). Previews included.

The EA Sports outfit and Sid Meier's skins were shipped with The Sims Complete Collection, but all the others were left behind.
