Technophobe

Technophobe is a trait in The Sims 3. It conflicts with the Couch Potato and Computer Whiz traits.

Technophobe Sims hate television. They will never watch television except in dire circumstances and will always look for an alternative source of entertainment

• This Trait is very good if your making a Writer
• Sim won't have any fun while watching TV.
• Sim is a bit scared of using a computer.
• Sim has the ability to sabotage electronics!
• Sim will smash any electronics they see to pieces, much to the horror of the household they are visiting.
• Technophobe Sims are bad at repairing electrical appliances.
• Technophobe Sims have to work harder to improve the writing skill than other Sims.
• If Uses a television while broken they have a 90% chance of eletrcution

Player notes

• Strangely enough; SimBots can choose this trait.
• It has been noted that Technophobes won't mind using a stereo speaker.
• If Talk about computers is used on a Sim with this trait, the social will fail.
