New to wikis?

• If you are new to wikis, you may want to read the tutorial on the Central Wikia.
• There is some advice on getting this wiki started at Help:Starting this wiki.
• A list of help pages can be found at Help:Contents. Ask for specific help at Forum:Help desk and gameplay help at Forum:Questions.
• A list of administrators can be found at The Sims Wiki:Administrators.

How to help out

• Join a Project and collaborate on a specific area of The Sims Wiki
• If you want to help but you're not sure where to start, try improving the various stub articles by adding content.
• Another helpful activity would be to check the list of wanted pages for frequently linked-to articles that don't exist yet.
• To follow the changes to this wiki, and to look out for new users and edits use recent changes.
• You can find a list of useful templates on Category:Templates, some of which are documented on Project:Templates.
• If you need help editing, you could start with Help:Editing or the tutorial on the Central Wikia.

Want to discuss stuff?

• If you want to discuss anything specific to an article, you can use the talk page for that article.
• For more general discussions you can use the Discussion tab of this page, or a Forum.
• We are currently discussion what downloads and custom content should be included in The Sims Wiki and how it should be displayed.

Want to connect with the community?

• Join and/or make a contest!
• Ask a question on the forum!
• Talk with other users on the IRC channel!
• Make a talkbox to show off your unique style while leaving messages on talk pages!
• Make a userbox for your user page to show people what games you have, information about yourself, and your likes and dislikes!

Things to do

Useful activities Help expand some stubs. Locate and mark pages that need expanding as stubs. Create links to some orphaned pages. Upload and add some images! Visit Special:Upload. Add them to a category too, like [[Category:Images]]. Write a new article that's on the the wanted list! Consider splitting up very long pages. Create some links on dead end pages. Add more...
