Welcome to The Sims Wiki Development Portal, this is where the community keeps up to date with minor updates and discussions about templates and general site maintenance.
The talk page is where you can announce what you've been up to, something you've noticed and to give other contributors a heads up!

In short bullet format, newest at the top:
- Fanon categories for Sims are now generated by {{Sim}}. 16:48, April 24, 2011 (UTC)
- A Wikia update has made the topnav bar slightly wider, resulting in word wrap; stopgap measure has been taken, but input on topnav design is welcome on the talk page.
- Heads Up: Be sure to include '-moz-border-radius:' and '-webkit-border-radius:' tags on rounded corner boxes and headers, so that rounded corners show up in more browsers than just Mozilla Firefox.
- The
gameparameter in Infobox templates is now required (especially for expansions and console games) as it is being/will be used to generate categories. - Merged {{Resurrect-Sims 3}} into {{Resurrect-in-game}}.
- Changed the name of some Category:Sims by resurrectability categories to use "who" instead of "that"
- Edited MediaWiki:Wikia.css and MediaWiki:Common.css for color consistency of navigation boxes and tables
- Added {{As of}} and {{Update after}} to tag dated statements
- Updated Template:Navbox, and added Template:Navbox subgroup, Template:Navbox with collapsible groups and Template:Navbox with columns
- Added Succession templates
- Update to {{Parthenon}}: added an optional width parameter. Number input is in percentage width; default value is 65% of screen width
- Added new available awards toThe Sims Wiki:Awards; all images displayed in {{Awards}} will automatically resize to 20px.
- removed "yes" and "available" as buy types in {{GetObjectCats}}
- sign has been added to {{Sim3}} and {{Simbio3}} for Late Night Sims
- Template:FamilyInfobox,Template:Family,Template:Family1,Template:Family2 &Template:Family3 now have the optional parameter economicstatus. 15:37, October 24, 2010 (UTC)
- Template:Game now has optional parameter for theme music - see The Sims for an implementation example. 21:45, October 3, 2010 (UTC)
- Special:UnusedFiles is now almost empty, so editors can start checking it regularly again. 06:23, September 9, 2010 (UTC)
