Nomination[edit source]

The fanon begins with the following text: Doons99p a youtuber created a Sims 2 series in the town Fanon:Plesantview Doons99p starting May 25 2008 running for 10 years. This is enough to prove that this fanon documents a third-party creation and not something created by the fanon author themselves. Per the Creation Policy § Fanon Policy, The creation of fanon pages about Sims, families, locations, or features created by a third party is limited [...] The fanon author(s) must exceed the source material, expanding the original content with their own personal additions. Fanon articles that merely document third party creations in an encyclopedic fashion are not permitted.

Unfortunately, from what I am seeing, this is what the fanon is doing right now. I encourage the fanon author to improve this fanon page by adding original content; as a note, we do not accept mere encyclopedic documentations of other people's content in our fanon namespace as this was never its intended purpose. Fan-fictional adaptations of other people's content is fine so long as the creator does not prohibit this. —k6ka 🍁 (Talk · Contributions) 01:37, October 5, 2018 (UTC)

I agree with the nomination for the reasons stated above. It has also been two weeks and the fanon author has yet to make any changes to that page. I support deletion. -- LostInRiverview talk · blog · contribs 16:19, October 20, 2018 (UTC)
