:Neutral, as I haven't seen GeorgieGibbons, really solve any issues. I actually haven't seen him edit at all recently, or, that just may be me. I do support him, since an able and competent admin nominated him. AurorSig
::My reasoning for nominating him is that he is actually pretty active (check his contributions; he's online almost every day) and in my memory has not been involved in any sort of dispute, has not really ever taken a side one way or another on a major controversial issue. Not many of us, myself included, can claim that. That alone is not reason enough to give someone a position, I agree, but GGs behavior here has been nothing if not exemplary, and there is no reason to think that he would not maintain neutrality. -- <font color="green">LostInRiverview</font> <font color="navy">talk</font> · <font color="navy">blog</font> 20:07, December 19, 2010 (UTC)

I think he has done a extremely good work here on Sims Wiki, he has tallent and creativity, he has participated in important discussions and he is a kind person, I'm suggesting that BobNewbie could be the community director. Thanks --Guilherme Guerreiro (talk here) 15:06, December 11, 2010 (UTC)
I accept. I am prepared and ready to be a community director. I am one on 2 other wiki's, and I am great at growing a community. I have more than 1,800 edits, and I work hard and believe in the quality of my edits. I am an experienced admin on many wiki's. I work hard at being a joy to work with, and I believe the community trusts me well enough. Thank you. --BobNewbie talk • blog 15:41, December 11, 2010 (UTC)
Other things I wan't to add is that I take part in discussions, created the The Sims Wiki Birthdays concept, worked with LostInRiverview to start Featured User nominations, and took a large part in creating The Sims Wiki:Battles. I welcome new users and give advice to them. If anybody would like to ask me any questions, feel free to do so. BobNewbie talk • blog 16:17, December 11, 2010 (UTC)
I'll let this sit for a little while to give others a chance to comment, but I'm good with it. Dharden (talk) 20:07, December 11, 2010 (UTC)
Thank you Dharden. Everyone, please remember that I will answer any questions you wish to ask me. Thanks! --BobNewbie talk • blog 20:15, December 11, 2010 (UTC)
I have no problem with BobNewbie becoming the Community Director until Bleeh returns to the Wiki in April (as she is also the community director) and then we can go from there. GEORGIEGIBBONStalkcontributions 20:17, December 11, 2010 (UTC)
That works out. I can be community director till she returns. I believe having a fully active community director may also help out with the decreasing activity. BobNewbie talk • blog 20:21, December 11, 2010 (UTC)
I was actually going to mention that issue... I've talked with Bleeh on the IRC channel and she understands what's going on here. It's unfortunate it had to happen this way, but I think we need an active community director. I don't know what should be done in April when she returns, but if BobNewbie is willing to hold the position temporarily, I suppose that would work. -- LostInRiverviewtalk · blog 04:25, December 12, 2010 (UTC)
As soon as Bleeh returns, I will step down from the position. I understand completely. --BobNewbie talk • blog 07:34, December 12, 2010 (UTC)
Also, I have between average and high wiki editing knowledge. If I am chosen by the community for the task of being the community director, I will use this knowledge to grow and maintain the community to the best of my abilities. BobNewbie talk • blog 17:06, December 12, 2010 (UTC)
Despite several worries about you becoming admin, I'm in full support. [Ѧüя◎ґ] 23:30, December 12, 2010 (UTC)
Thank you to everyone who has given their support. I promise you will not regret doing so. BobNewbie talk • blog 17:14, December 13, 2010 (UTC)
As I read it, Community Director is a position of responsibility, but not one that requires the holder to have sysop privs, so that's not an issue. Anyway, we do need an active CD now, and we have someone who is willing to do it on an interim basis. I see no reason why he should not. Approved. Dharden (talk) 20:56, December 13, 2010 (UTC)
I would like to apply for the position of Community Director, up until our permanent Community Director returns in April. It's unfortunate that BobNewbie had to leave the position, but I think we can move forward. I was very impressed by all that Bob started and I hope to carry forward everything he did, as well as start some new things. My ideas include
Highlighting user created contests from time-to-time
Drawing more activity to the Forums through threads and community discussion
Gathering feedback from community members for improvement to the community.
If I am given this opportunity, I intend to hold it only until Bleeh is able to return.

Support - You have done a great job as an administrator and I am positive that you will do a good job as an interim Community Director. Regards, GG(t) • (c) • (b) 20:13, January 14, 2011 (UTC)
Yes, you're such a great admin, and you've done a gorgeous job to improve our community involvement, congratulations! :) --Guilherme Guerreiro (talk here) 11:05, January 16, 2011 (UTC)
Withdrawing - On second thought, I think this position would be better suited for a non-administrator, so I am going to withdraw my name and application. I encourage any other active community members to come forward and apply. - LostInRiverviewtalk · blog 02:29, January 21, 2011 (UTC)
I would like to self-nominate myself to be the new IRC contact to replace Duskey. I had previously considered LostInRiverview for the job but per User talk:GEORGIEGIBBONS#IRC Contact, I have decided to nominate myself as I do have quite a bit of knowledge with IRC and I am capable with a lot of things that are related to IRC, such as granting user flags (such as op) and maintanance of a channel. LostLabyrinth • (c) • (b) 18:15, March 12, 2011 (UTC)
Strong Support, I have seen your abilities when it comes to using the IRC, and I think that they are impressive. Your character is always good and you've never insulted or harassed anyone. Since Duskey has left, I think you are the best for being and IRC Contact. |_Andronikos LeventisTalk 17:22, March 14, 2011 (UTC)
Strong Support With slight hesitation, since I'm scared of you being powerful. --BobNewbie talk • blog 17:35, March 14, 2011 (UTC)
Strong Support - He is experienced with IRC, and he has proven he is able to do administrative duties, so I trust him :). My best wishes for a good luck on this matter. Thank you. --Guilherme Guerreiro (talk here) 19:39, March 14, 2011 (UTC)
Strong Support - Ѧüя◎ґ 02:41, March 27, 2011 (UTC)
Position Granted. As for the technical aspects of "taking over" the channel, you may need to flag down someone from Freenode, since getting a hold of Duskey seems unlikely. -- LostInRiverviewtalk · blog 02:56, March 27, 2011 (UTC)
I nominate myself, I know I can do the job since I'm not busy at all. I need things to do and this would be perfect, it would give me a chance to be active once again, and give me something real to do. I've read all of the policies before and still remember them. Looking forward to the comments.--DarthCookieTalk 10:24, December 22, 2010 (UTC)
While I do think you've done good work here, as I have stated before the position of Forum Moderator will likely require administrator powers, and I am not sure that the Bureaucrats are willing to give them out for this position (but we'll see, won't we?)-- LostInRiverviewtalk · blog 18:28, December 22, 2010 (UTC)
We will see.--DarthCookieTalk 09:21, December 25, 2010 (UTC)
Strong suuport. She has done such good work, This nomination is a thumbs up by me :), I know you are going to be able to do the job. --Guilherme Guerreiro (talk here) 16:50, December 30, 2010 (UTC)
Support You do some really good work on the wiki and I'm sure you would do great work as the forum mod.--thelamppost 20:31, January 24, 2011 (UTC)
I am not sure. I haven't seen you in the forum zone recently, but still, your work is amazing! It is too difficult |_Andronikos LeventisTalk 12:35, January 30, 2011 (UTC)
Seeing as you are now a fanon administrator, you do have the administrator powers I was previously discussing. And, seeing no serious opposition, Request Granted. -- LostInRiverviewtalk · blog 03:04, March 27, 2011 (UTC)
I would like to apply to be the ombudsman. I'm friendly and generally non-confrontational and I would like the chance to be a bigger help on the wiki. I am neutral, and would be of help to settle disputes.--thelamppost 19:44, January 15, 2011 (UTC)
- Support: I cannot recall any issues regarding past actions or behavior, and you seem to get along with most everyone. I don't think there's a limit on the number of Ombudsman we have, so I don't feel conflicted supporting multiple people. -- LostInRiverviewtalk · blog 03:04, January 16, 2011 (UTC)
: I think you would do good as an Ombudsman, good luck, you have my full support.--DarthCookieTalk 09:45, January 26, 2011 (UTC)
Request Denied: I'm going to hold off on this right now, simply because you are not terribly active at the moment. If your activity picks up, please re-apply - LostInRiverviewtalk · blog 03:04, March 27, 2011 (UTC)
Apologies for the late input, as I have been busy in RL. I accept the nomination. GG(t) • (c) • (b) 14:18, December 20, 2010 (UTC)
Strong Support. He has, can and will do a great job as Ombudsman. --BobNewbie talk • blog 19:24, December 19, 2010 (UTC)
Neutral. To be honest, I don't know because I haven't seen many "social actions" from Georgie you when it comes to disputes, I am really indecisive because I don't know how would be Georgie's performance on matters such as disputes, however I think he has made such a great work, it wouldn't bother me if he was "promoted". Thank you for understanding. --Guilherme Guerreiro (talk here) 19:31, December 19, 2010 (UTC)
My reasoning for nominating him is that he is actually pretty active (check his contributions; he's online almost every day) and in my memory has not been involved in any sort of dispute, has not really ever taken a side one way or another on a major controversial issue. Not many of us, myself included, can claim that. That alone is not reason enough to give someone a position, I agree, but GGs behavior here has been nothing if not exemplary, and there is no reason to think that he would not maintain neutrality. -- LostInRiverviewtalk · blog 20:07, December 19, 2010 (UTC)
Hmm... good observation, Lost, taking no side is good, you are right but I don't think submission is all that good, you can have a opinions but express them in a neutral way and I don't know if it is that what he does... I may change my position but I would like more input here. --Guilherme Guerreiro (talk here) 20:20, December 19, 2010 (UTC)
Another point is that users already ask him for help, and he helps them every time they ask. --BobNewbie talk • blog 12:51, December 27, 2010 (UTC)
As I am now a bureaucrat, I will be pulling my formal nomination. However, if someone else would like to adopt the nomination of GEORGIEGIBBONS, please post below and we can consider this matter further. -- LostInRiverviewtalk · blog 03:04, March 27, 2011 (UTC)
