A tomb is not complete without a challenge! Traps can be either disarmed or not disarmable. There are 4 types of active traps: Fire, Electricity, Darts and Steam your Sim would be able to encounter. The fire-trap will ignite your Sim, but wouldn't kill them unless they're singed. The electricity-trap would instantly singe your Sim. The darts-trap would cover your Sim in tranquility darts, causing them to fall asleep. The steam-trap is the least dangerous trap, as it only can soak your Sims, which causes a minor mood decrease. Movable statues can disarm the traps if they're firing conteniously.
