Tombs are underground labyrinths that hold puzzles, traps and treasure. Tombs can be found in Shang Simla, Al Simhara and Champs Les Sims. They can (in Egypt) contain mummies, which can leave a Sim with the mummy's curse.

Unlike common buildings, theres a fog system to hide the unexplored area from the first visit in the tomb. Once a Sim enters a unexplored area, the fog fades away.

Some tombs require some keystones only obtainable from quest.

The tombs may contain traps to prevent Sims from stealing the treasure.

Most tombs contain puzzle elements, such as floor tiles, movable statues, torch levers and miscellaneous items to keep Sims away from it's treasure.

Tombs can also be created in a Sim's home town.
