Trivia

  • The Tricou family name and house are likely based on a real home in New Orleans, Louisiana. The house has a long, narrow staircase down which the owner's niece fell to her death and now supposedly haunts the house. Other hauntings are also reported to have happened in the house. The house became a restaurant and popular attraction with the hauntings, but closed in 2005 [1].
  • Despite the fact that the family home has a lush exterior, the inside lacks traditional Victorian-Gothic, haunted mansion-like furniture. Along with this, the Tricous, for the most part, have relatively modern clothing and hairstyles.
  • Although Fricorith has blond hair, neither of his parents do, meaning that unless Jennicor or Jon Smith possessed blond hair in their youth, this is impossible. It is possible that Gvaudoin and Fricorith were intended to have each other's parents, or this may simply be an error on Maxis's part.
  • Fricorith is buried in the Moonlight Falls cemetery, in The Sims 3: Supernatural. This may suggest that the Tricou family has been long dead by the time The Sims 2 takes place.
