Hi there! I'm a rollback here on the wiki, and if you have any questions that you would like to ask, post them here. I'm semi-active so I am not here all the time.
Note: I don't have Pets but I do have Pet Stories which is the same.
Expansion pack
Pros
Cons
10/10
I don't own this expansion pack. However, based on tons of reviews that I read and features of it in The Sims Stories, this seems like a fun EP to play with. Many new objects - plus, you can sell virtually anything!
I don't really have a say in this since I don't own the EP.
9/10
It's so fun to play with weather. Without it, the game is just meaningless. Gardening and fishing are also very fun!
How come in one lot it's winter and snowing and in the house next door it's summer hot? I know that The Sims 2 doesn't have story progression but this is just silly!
8/10
Apartment Life adds many new features and the new neighbourhood is huge!
Apartments can be small and very limited. Plus, I hate that the NPCs move in 10 seconds after I load the lot.
7/10
The hobbies are very fun to play with. They really do make the game more interesting. NPC ageing is also nice.
The secret hobby lots are a bit disappoining. Not impressive.
7/10
There are many new activities with Nightlife, such as outings, datings, bowling alleys, restaurants... Good for players with the Pleasure aspiration.
Vampires are annoying. I mean, you can't even place them near a window without lowering their needs.
6/10
University adds fun new objects and features to play with. Plus, with many people in a dorm anything can happen.
College isn't very exciting. Most of the time, you'll just see Sims studying. Also, it takes a lot of time to finish college!
5/10
Three new destinations offer tons of new activites. I love the Walk to lot interaction.
If you visit it once, you saw it all. The new neighbourhoods are really small, and about 10-12 lots in each - 5-6 being hotels.
5/10
Pets are fun to play with. Great for Family Sims.
Well, it's not that I hate this EP, but it's about pets and... that's about it. You can't even control them. If you would like to play pets, I suggest Pet Stories. It has more objects, plus there is an object that enables you to control pets.
The Sims 2 Stuff Packs
Note: I don't have H&M.
Stuff Pack
Pros
Cons
10/10
It adds tons of new objects. Really fun to experiment with. Like the title, great for mansions and villas.
All the objects in this pack are very expensive. A Sim must work extremely hard to move in in the mansions described in the pack.
9/10
I was skeptical when I saw the trailer, but now I couldn't imagine my bathrooms and kitchens without this pack.
It's a fairly small pack. They could have added even more objects. The theme is very well, however. They could've expanded it into a Home Decor stuff pack.
9/10
A variety of new objects, perfect for dinining rooms and bedrooms. Very classic.
Why can't the big TV/Bookcase be used as a TV and as a bookcase? Plus the red clock doesn't work.
9/10
Unlike the other stuff packs, this one includes new gameplay features, animations and even new NPCs!
I can't really find a flaw here, but it's just now my favourite pack.
7/10
New shiny and luxury objects. Really glamourous.
The same thing with Mansion and Garden Stuff. Too expensive. Plus, I don't really like the glamour theme itself, but the new bedroom items are incredible.
6/10
Guess what? No more boring parties with the same old baloons! Now you can make your celebrations even more festive with the new items!
I don't like parties in The Sims 2 (I like them much more in The Sims 3), but the objects and outfits are nice.
6/10
Finally a teen-themed stuff pack for once. The new objects in the pack are amazing!
The reason because it's at the bottom is because of the lack of themes. Seriously? Just 3 themes?
5/10
I love the cute new things for toddlers and children. The Sims 3 still doesn't have a children-themed EP.
I actually love the theme, but there's not a lot to play with. There's the underwater theme and the castle theme... and that's it.
