This Resources page is for storing links on where to get images and other usefull stuff for The Sims (series) and improve the wiki in general. I think it's important that we standardize our use of offical material, instead of having 3 icons of every game logo. If you have any comments or additions to this page, please contact me on my talk page.

Neither does anyone else.

3rd party tools

  • VirtualDub - Free video editing program, can also export animated gifs. It's tech-heavy, no easy point-n-click GUI.
  • EditPad Lite - Great for quick mass edit of text.
  • TinEye - Reverse image search. Upload an image and see where else it is on the web. Great for finding copyright info on images.

Misc/Other

  • Wikimedia Commons is a great place to find images. Most images there are either Public Domain, CC or Gnu licensed.
  • Open Clipart] is also nice. All images there are Public Domain.
