Description
The noble Quasi-Puritans hails from the land of Krete. While Kretikoi were known for deceit and treachery, Hiera is the antithesis of a stereotypical Kretikos. When the Supernatural Revolution struck, vast numbers of supernaturals immigrated to Krete. Not accustomed to the sudden influx of supernaturals, the local residents asked Hiera to exorcise the place. Hiera being Hiera didn't like it and chose a different approach, which led to her expulsion to the Eye of Terror. But the goody-good Hiera found followers, and soon were released by acolytes. With the Supernatural assimilated with the Kretan society, Hiera found an new ally in the Paleolamprotopoi family, having recruited the younger of the sisters, Agapeta. With the retinue of 2 of the most devoted acolytes and Agapeta, they seek to inherit Tiberium with which they will spread the word of multi-culturalism...

Quasi-Puritans are a major house in Heptanomis, being one of the 6 major houses to compete for administratorship of the Papal Capital. They are noted for their kindness and honesty, although the acolytes don't necessarily follow the ascetic lifestyle that Hiera requests of the followers.

They are the 2nd poorest of the major houses, richer than the only the Zarach. Despite this, they are still far more wealthy than most of the households in Heptanomis, since they are active participants in Tiberium production. They are also the most diverse of the houses: while most houses are monolithic in ethnicity and status (perhaps with the exception of their rivals, the Immortalists), the Quasi-Puritans are of varied origins, as the constituents of the household isn't a blood-related family, but rather acolytes and allies attracted to Hiera's qualities.
