Your Fanon[edit source]
Hi Erin! It's nice to have you on the wiki. The only thing is... just wondering, what is the purpose of this? Don't you feel that it might be a little, uh, inappropriate for a Fanon title? I would advise changing it, not because I am an administrator who can enforce it but because I feel that it is a bit unsettling, as I and another user have already commented on your Fanon. :) PGR7 (parler - entendre) 14:20, July 19, 2013 (UTC)
Empty fanon[edit source]
In addition to the above message, I'd like to inform you not to leave your fanon blank like Fanon:Alora Sall and Fanon:JT Yorke, and Sonya Simpson & Amy Sall being completely blank, even without the proper Sim template. If you need any help about the usage of the templates, please ask us. Nikel Talk – Vote! 10:36, July 20, 2013 (UTC)
Blank fanons[edit source]
I've reminded you about leaving your fanons blank. We do not allow placeholder fanons, which is creating a fanon with little or no content at all but with only property tag and infobox, especially the ones with no evident sign of future improvement. Please do not leave your fanons empty. Doing so will make your empty fanons be subject to deletion. Nikel Talk – Vote! 06:41, July 31, 2013 (UTC)
Fanon cleanup[edit source]
The reason why these templates were there was due to the lack of content of your fanons. It's not you who decide whether a fanon is to be tagged for cleanup or not; admins are.
And let me give you a stern, final warning for your fanon quality control:
- Do not leave your fanon blank
Just placing infobox doesn't count as a non-empty page. Anyone can add infobox, but not the content. If you don't add any contents at all, it's the same as you're creating nothing at all. I'll leave Fanon:Mia Castole as the last reserve. Any subsequent blank fanons will be deleted at once.
Here's a tip. Create a story of your fanon in a notepad beforehand (or any word processor or even paper), then add it to the editor, and publish your fanon. Don't make the fanon first, and leave it until you find inspiration. That kind of act is discouraged. Nikel Talk – Vote! 13:20, October 14, 2013 (UTC)
- Another alternative to this is to write the fanon in the userpage. Try for your Tina Defario page User:ErintheSIMMER/Fanon:Tina Defario and write your content there. If your text and other content takes space around the length of the infobox, it's probably a good indication that you've got the content. Empty Fanon[edit source]
Greetings,
I have noticed that you're quite enthusiastic about fanon creation. However, the advice that Nikel gave you around 3 and a half month ago seems not to have changed your modus operandi. It is a serious problem, since none of your 4 fanon articles have enough content to be kept at the current state.
I must also speak with concern that you MUST add enough content to your fanon to make it acceptable to our fanon namespace. Failure to do so will eventually result in the deletion of the fanon as Nikel has spoken to you before. I urge you once again to either prewrite your fanon on say a word processor or move your fanon to your namespace as I've recommended you before. I do not wish to see your potential fanon deleted which I fear will discourage you.
If you do wish to have your fanon moved to your userspace so you can work there without the fear of deletion but don't know how, feel free to contact me or any other admin to do so and we shall deliver.
