How to make templates

Templates can be hard to wrap your brain around at first. I can recommend pouring yourself a nice bug cup of coffee/tea/coco one evening and read Help:Templates, Help:Creating templates & Help:Template parameters. These three pages are essential for understanding how templates work. There's also a Templates wiki which contain few, but very good templates which are ready to be copied over to any wiki on Wikia. The important thing here is to experiment. Try making a simple template on a test page or something and see if you can make it work. --Duskey^talk 23:20, September 17, 2010 (UTC)

How to add references
