- Well, this wiki is an awesome chance to do some anti-idiot rollbacks/undos, and believe me, some users here are really problematic. The Sims Wiki IRC[edit source]
Hi there. JEA13 tells me you're the one who created #the_sims on Freenode. The channel is becoming active again and would like to know if you can bestow +voice upon admins of the wiki so we become more visible for other users. Duskey(talk) 22:00, July 20, 2010 (UTC)
- What's your IRC account named? If you haven't one, register a name so I may add you to the voice list. Also, if anyone in your admin team is inside-out experienced with IRC, I'm happy to appoint them as channel contact since it would be more appropriate for them to handle it rather than someone who's not very active here ;) - Nicmavr (talk)
- Not yet, my mail is lost in Microsoft support hell at the moment, but User:LostInRiverview and User:Bleeh should be eligible to signup up and be voiced. I'm not familiar with any admins knowing IRC inside-out. Duskey(talk) 11:23, July 21, 2010 (UTC)
- Anyone is eligible for an IRC account (provided they are of age). I've checked for the above users; there's no registered accounts by the names LostInRiverview or Bleeh. Unless they're using different names, they will also need to register. Suggest we point them here for discussion. - Nicmavr (talk)

- I see. It is almost only LostInRiverview, Bleeh and myself who are active in there and we're all admins. I wouldn't mind taking over the channel contact job, I have limited experience with being op on IRC, but have done so from time to time.
