Sandbox[edit source]

Hello. :) Regarding your sandbox, you should create a sandbox in the subpage of your own userpage only. I'm moving your current sandbox to User:Suceress/Sandbox1, just to let you know. Nikel Talk Vote! 13:13, April 24, 2014 (UTC)

Thanks! On another wiki the admins created my sandbox for me and I didn't know how they did it. I wish I knew how to save a draft without publishing. I was editing the sandbox while you sent this so I hope it didn't mess things up. Any ideas how to get the revised thing to not squish like it does? I know it requires some scrolling to left/right and its only by a few pixels. I'm glad that I did the changes in a sandbox instead of trying to edit the actual gardening page because I would have been annoyed at the need to scroll. It didn't show that in the preview.
How do I create my sandbox in that spot anyway? I didn't see options on how to select a spot. This thing can be confusing.Suceress (talk) 13:37, April 24, 2014 (UTC)
No, you didn't mess anything up. I wanted to apologize too for deleting the page while you were still editing there. Unfortunately, I don't think there's a way to work around with the table. If the table is tad too large for the page width, the table must be scrolled no matter what. In my opinion, adding a "notes" column to the table will make the list tacky. :/ The table is large enough to begin with, so we should minimize the height of each row. This is why the information about where the Store plants are from is separated from the table, and be placed somewhere else instead.
Also, you can freely create your own subpage in your userpage. You can add a page by adding "User:Suceress/" in front of the page title. Or, you could just type on the address bar the title of your subpage and press enter. Another way is to create a redlink link this User:Suceress/Sandbox, click the link, and create the page. No need to apologize. You probably didn't realize I was editing. I was adding notes on where in World Adventures the different plants can be found. Sometimes people look over the tables and don't read the other text above and below so I thought a notes section would help for people who are lazy or unobservant. I saw notes for the cooking table and thought it would be about the same, but it just didn't work out. Is there a way to link to somewhere within the same page? I know it can be done in HTML, but I'm still trying to learn how to do this type of code. If I could have it so that when someone clicks on the name of the plant it takes them to a section that says where that plant is found or any pertinent notes about it... Or maybe have a thing so when someone mouses over the name it has a popup that says from which store set/item its from (and for WA stuff it can say from which neighborhood it originated). For store items it might be more convenient to have a link so people can go check it out though. Btw, the SwiftGro Gardening station is currently marked down to 350 simpoints (deal ends tomorrow).
Ahh! Thank you for explaining how to make the page. When I was reading the instructions I didn't get what it meant exactly. It makes sense now.Suceress (talk) 14:26, April 24, 2014 (UTC)
