He livesresides in the poor suburbs of the town of [[Sunset Valley]] along with his younger brother [[Miraj Alvi|Miraj]] and his father [[Iqbal Alvi|Iqbal]]. VJ and his father [[Iqbal Alvi|Iqbal]] share a mutual dislike for each other., Hebut he is friends with his little brother [[Miraj Alvi|Miraj]]. He isand also friends with [[Lisa Bunch]].

At the start of the game, VJ has 13 days left before becoming a [[young adult]]. He is a C student in High School, despite this, his bio statesstating that he's horribleis ata schoolhorrible student. He starts out with no skills. Likeand like his father he has the fantasy novel the Warlock of Palladia in his inventory.

It is mentioned in his bio that, though his mother, though she doesn't appear on his family tree, she walked out on the family and he blames his father for her leaving. He has grown into having an evil personality, listenslistening to no one, nevernot doesdoing his homework, never associatesassociating with people ofanyone his own age, and all he does isconstantly arguearguing with his father. He is, however, friends with [[Lisa Bunch]], whowith whom he has a similar personality as him.
