Video game

A group of Sims playing a video game on a console.

A video game is a game that Sims can play on various electronic devices, such as game consoles, computers, arcade machines, smartphones, and tablets. In The Sims 2 and later, there are a number of distinct video games available for Sims to play. Some of these games are not owned by the Sims by default and must be purchased from a store[TS2], or by leveling up in the video gaming skill[TS4]. In The Sims 2 and The Sims 3, a single copy of a video game will work on any device capable of playing video games; there is no distinction made between console games, computer games or mobile games. However, in The Sims 4, games are generally exclusive to either computers or consoles.
