Visa

A Visa indicates a Sim's progress at each exotic location in The Sims 3: World Adventures and provides benefits such as adventure rewards and longer vacation time.

Involving a Sim in the culture of a location by talking to locals and completing adventures, gains Visa points which increase their Visa level. There are 5 levels.

With "Prepared Traveler" lifetime reward, vacation times are increased for three days for each visa level.

Visa Levels

No Visa Points 3 (+ 3 = 6)*
Visa Level 1 5 (+ 3 = 8)*
Visa Level 2 8 (+ 3 = 11)*
Visa Level 3 10 (+ 3 = 13)*
Visa Level 4 12 (+ 3 = 15)*

Destinations have names for their visa levels (incomplete):

  • China - Level 0 - Stranger
  • China - Level 2 - Honoured
  • China - Level 3 - Revered
  • Egypt - Level 0 - Outsider
  • Egypt - Level 1 - Sanctioned Traveller
  • Egypt - Level 2 - Endorsed Explorer
  • France - Level 0 - Tourist
  • France - Level 1 - Vacationist
