10 Summer Hill Court is the house of the Landgraab family in The Sims 3. It is an enormous and beautiful mansion and the most expensive lot in Sunset Valley.
House Description
The front door leads into a very large foyer. This ornate, two-story entry way is lavishly decorated with marble columns and floor tiles, expensive chairs, some bookshelves and a chandelier. A glass door at the other end of the foyer leads to a large deck that also serves as a bridge over the impressive private pool. The room on the left of the foyer is the large formal dining room, which is decorated with a traditional yellow wallpaper, wood floors, columns and a very expensive fireplace. The dining room leads directly to the large kitchen which features a breakfast area.
To the right of the foyer is an office space with two desks, multiple bookshelves, chairs and a laptop. The heavy woods on the wall, floor and furniture gives a very "old-money" vibe. Directly off the office is the living room which boasts yet another fireplace, more columns, a chesboard and ornate furniture.
The first floor also has two identical full bathrooms; one is accessible through the dining room, while the other one requires you go through the home office.
The second floor is home to a small private theatre, the very large master bedroom (with attached master bathroom), Malcolm's bedroom and a spare bedroom decorated in shades of blue, yellow, and white. A small, golden bathroom is just steps away from Malcolm's bedroom door. Fireplaces can be found upstairs in Malcolm's room and the master bathroom, but oddly not in the master bedroom.
Mansion Grounds
The lavish decorations do not stop at the interior, as the house exterior and is very pretty as well. A tall wall lines the front and sides of the yard and a large two-car garage sits in the left corner of the front yard. An enormous circular driveway allows Sims to drive right up to the front door. The backyard has the previously mentioned pool, decorative hedges and even a beautiful pond! Expensive trees line each side of the grounds, and bushes out front add curb appeal to the house.
Trivia
- The house is the largest home in Sunset Valley.
- Because the house is so large, luxurious, and beautiful, many players will kick the Landgraabs out of it and move their own families in.
- Unlike most of the houses from wealthy, long-generation sims, the Landgraab house lacks a graveyard.
- 10 Summer Hill Court is often remodeled by players.
