The Sims 3: Supernatural

The Aleister's Alchemy Station is a skill object introduced in The Sims 3: Supernatural. It can be found in the Hobbies & Skills section under Entertainment in buy mode.

The alchemy station helps a Sim gain their Alchemy skill. They can "Research Alchemy", where they simply improve their skill, and "Mix Elixir", where they mix an elixir and make one bottle (or two to three when their skill level is higher than five) of it.

The Sims 4: Realm of Magic

Cauldrons are a new skill object in The Sims 4: Realm of Magic. Spellcasters can use them to brew various potions, each with their own effect. Potions are brewed in batches of four, and the Copypasto spell can be used to copy potions when they run out, to avoid having to make more manually.[1] There is a branch of magic specifically devoted to making potions, called Alchemy.[2]

There are two cauldrons available for purchase. One has a normal fire underneath and the other has a magical fire. They both work on lots with the "Off-the-Grid" lot trait.[3] Cauldrons can also be used to cook food. [4]
